Job Description
How you’ll help
As a Business Development Associate, you’ll work closely with our Business Development Managers, Delivery team, and our CEO to strategize our approach for the US Market. You will engage in conversations with prospects to help fill our sales pipeline with possible future customers. You will be identifying opportunities reaching out to business owners and top executives of small and mid-sized companies in the US.
What you’ll do
- Utilize PipeDrive CRM, ZoomInfo, and Linkedin with proficiency
- Drive new business by setting meetings with qualified contacts at small and mid-sized US companies involved in innovation and research in Software, Manufacturing, Engineering and Architecture.
- Make 40-50 prospecting calls per day to potential customers
- Understand customer needs and Identify pain points
- Schedule 3-8 qualified meetings a week with potential customers and our Account Managers
- Craft high touch emails using excellent written communication skills
- Build Technical Knowledge: Review Training, attend or schedule lunch and learn
- Build Financial and Industry Knowledge: Scout various resources related to innovative industries to build knowledge around specific sector of interest, attend events and training
- Collaborate with your team and other departments to bring ideas to improve processes
- Report to our CEO to strategize more effective and creative sales methods
Profile
Experience & skills you’ll need
- 3+ years of proven success in a B2B sales experience
- Outstanding telephone skills talking to high-level executives
- Good command of CRM utilization for reaching out and following up with prospects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great listening aptitude and curiosity
- Self-Driven and positive attitude to reach and exceed quotas
- High degree of diligence, organization, and accountability
- General interest in various industries and business models
